Washington Delicatessen's Pizza is the very best Pizza Slice in DC! Why? Because we work hard to make it that way! We start by making our dough from scratch; every day! Next, we make our own sauce; a little basil, some garlic, fresh peeled Italian tomatoes, oregano and a touch of salt. Maybe a little more garlic!! Then we top it with whole milk mozzarella cheese. Our Pizzas are 18" in diameter, sliced into 8 large pieces. Each Large Pizza will feed four. DC's best Pizza by the slice! Give us a try! Pizza Delivery   Minimum order for pizza delivery is three pizzas. You can add salads and dessert or drinks to bring the order up to the minimum. Our Pizzas will serve at least 4 people.

Calzones: We make ours with ricotta cheese, sausage, peppers, onions, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese, wrapped in Pizza dough then baked in the oven and topped with marinara sauce and parmesan cheese. But we will make one up the way you like it, as long as you call or fax well in advance!   $6.95

Garlic Knots and Pesto Garlic Knots: Our own Pizza dough stuffed with olive oil, garlic and pesto plus all the right seasonings. One day notice required.   $1.75 each

Vegan and Vegetarian Pizza: We make fresh dough every day. Pizza dough when made correctly contains no dairy products. Our homemade sauce is made from the freshest whole pear tomatoes and spices. We use only "Teese Cheese" brand dairy-free soy "cheese". Select any vegetable topping or mock meat you like. Pizzas made with soy cheese are low fat as well as delicious.
